EUniversal at EUSEW 2021
EUniversal project was highlighted at European Sustainable Energy Week 2021 (EUSEW2021), the biggest European conference dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe.
The Policy Conference ran in a digital format, under the theme ‘Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System’.
Several sessions were organised by the European Commission and energy stakeholders and focused on sustainable energy issues, debate new policy developments, best practices and sustainable energy innovations.
An extended programme of side events took place prior to the EUSEW, from 11 to 22 October, and included a series of digital events complementing the main programme with several workshops, panels, talks and other activities.
Kirsten Glennung, from E.DSO, presented EUniversal project in her presentation “DSO Focus – Coordination of resources with local constraints and opportunities”, in the session moderated by Mark Mcgranaghan from the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI Europe) on the topic “Platform for Community and Customer Integration”.
This panel session provided perspectives from the different stakeholders involved in demonstrations and projects that integrate these distributed resources.
The goal was to use these different perspectives to identify important gaps and ideas on how these gaps can be addressed.
Besides EUniversal, other H2020 related projects were also highlighted, like OneNet and Coordinet.
